The case has a pleasant, velvet-like feel to the touch. The raised edge around the lenses is nice. What really annoyed me, though, is the size. It fits nicely around the edges of the phone, but it's clearly bigger in the middle, so the cover bulges away from the phone. It's turned it into a bit of an egg shape.
