Unfortunately, I'm returning the battery; I took my laptop apart for nothing. The battery connector is too short and it's impossible to push it into the connector on the board, even with a tool, when the battery is seated in its housing.
A relatively good quality battery from a Czech company (but made in China)

The lead wires are too short, the battery can't be connected to a ThinkPad E580 laptop with the same battery model number, it's at least 2mm too short to push the connector in.
