The holder is of poor quality, I will never buy it again. Either way, the bracket can be repaired - the repair will come out faster than filing a claim or a trip to the trash. Just cut the bracket between the handles (air conditioning handles - the 4 feet) crosswise with a pen and tear off the cut rubber (e.g. thin tweezers) - see photo, and the locking screw appears, which you tighten with a Phillips screwdriver and everything is OK again.
