It works as expected.
The pictorial instructions are sufficient for functionality, but the button (Connect & Secure) would like a better description of how to use it. The picture says hold for 2s. So really hold it down for 3 seconds at most, let go, the top LED will flash, and then go hold the button down on the other boxes the same way. The LEDs will flash, the boxes will probably do what they're supposed to do, and then they'll stay on. Done. If you hold it too long (probably more than 6s), it probably resets and the boxes stop working. It is then necessary to repeat the wiring procedure again. Or if you just press the button, even accidentally, it may stop communicating. So I am not surprised that some people feel that after a week it "stopped working" and they can go back: )
