they're absolutely great, if I had frequent use for speakers like these, I'd keep them, but unfortunately not. However, it's important to have only one connected via Bluetooth and pair the other one using the magic button, not to connect both via Bluetooth and then try to pair them with each other.
the sound is really great
Strong bass when Bass Boost is on
Excellent battery life. We ran it without the backlight on and it lasted (I had two for stereo) over 8 hours at a decent volume.

It took us a while to figure out how to pair them.
You can't use something like this all the time, but it's really great.
