After 5 years of using the wf1000xm3, replacing the batteries in both the headphones and the dock, the battery just started to fail again. They kept making mistakes and not getting it right. I got them with the Xperia V. After about a month of coaxing, reading reviews, I went for this model and I certainly didn't make a mistake. The sound is just an incredible leap from the xm3. Overall processing, weight, fit in the ear. I guess the only thing is, the cussing in the ear, but it's a habit. Definitely worth the investment.

Upgrade from the WF-1000XM3 and it shows a lot in terms of ANC. If it was purely about the sound, I would still be happy with the old version (XM3), which was also extremely comfortable in my ear. However, I do not regret the purchase and I am extremely satisfied. I sold the WH-1000XM5 and only use these small ones anymore.

They look less premium than the WF-1000XM4, but they unfortunately made my ears hurt. Otherwise, I'd go with them.
Price
Glossy surface (very slippery)
The size and shape make them harder to put in the ear. It takes a good push and I recommend the Sony app in the tutorial to test the tightness to see if they are fitted correctly. Anyone complaining about poor ANC probably doesn't have them perfectly seated (I use the largest included earbuds)
