I use it on an older car with metallic paint as a second coat. First I use Sonax metallic polish, which flattens the older paint better but doesn't have the durability. I then apply this wax with a higher protective effect. The car stays polished and clean significantly longer, depending on the weather etc. of course, it looks good even after half a year (garaging), when I repeat the polishing.
