SONAX surprised. Until now, I considered it a "cheap" brand. However, a 14 year old car that went to the car wash, so lots of micro dings, weathered paint and now it's polished. Of course, the Profiline SP 6/2 would not be enough for this alone. It's great for removing small creases, for example after a car wash, but it's not a finisher, it still leaves the paint "dull", it's an abrasive, not a polishing paste! For a complete paint restoration a more extensive combination will help, in my case specifically Air Corrosion Remover, very coarse abrasive paste for example for the grooves under the door handles, standard abrasive paste for refinement after very coarse, Profiline SP 6/2, Profiline EX 4/6, wax with pigments and polish. Except for the very coarse paste, everything is SONAX. And of course an eccentric polisher + two discs for rough and final polishing. And two days of honest work on an average car. Sure, it's about 4a1/2tis even with the polisher, but the result is really worth it. Once again, SONAX was a pleasant surprise.
