According to the instructions, the lever is supposed to be pushed all the way down, which twice resulted in water spurting out. So I only squeeze it halfway and leave it there for a while, one squeeze is enough to make the water rich enough. The instructions say to squeeze 1-5 times all the way down - so I wouldn't really recommend that (and I like my water very fizzy). 🙂

This is our first sodastream, so we have no comparison. I like that you can really easily put the bottle on (I know that before it had to be screwed together), here you really just put it on and click it in, even a small child can do it. I like the look of it, it doesn't disfigure the kitchen. What's worse is that we can only fit it in one place in the kitchen. We have upper strings above the whole line and one higher, higher than the others, that is the only place where the device fits, which seems to me a bit unfortunate. It has some metal parts - the hinge where the bottle is inserted, part of the hinge at the gas filling hinge... otherwise the rest is quite ordinary, cheap plastic and because it is shiny I am afraid that it will scratch in a while. At the same time, you can see every drop/print
I would love if the device came with a glass bottle, but unfortunately it is (hopefully for now) only for the older version. But all things considered, we're happy.
