I don't know if my VW Passat B5.5 has some particularly large bearings, but I had to use the absolute biggest puller. It won't manage larger bearings than that. After the first use, the nut no longer moves smoothly on the thread; I had to clamp the thread in a vice to get the nut to move. It did the job, but you can tell the quality is a bit lacking.
