After reading the reviews, I picked up a medium-hard, red set. I have only used it so far to thoroughly scrub the hob in the kitchen and the brushes work as expected, perhaps for the first time I am really pleased with the result of the work. It just needs to be covered with rags instead of being used, after all it does splash around a bit when working.
I'm not in the habit of writing reviews, and I certainly don't know what I'd do with this around the car. But for housekeeping, it's absolutely great. I stick it in the cordless drill, soak it in spring water and the tiles are instantly clean. Same with sweeping the crap out of the joints. I really recommend cleaning just about anything that can handle the hardness of these brushes (I have black ones - hard).
Absolutely great helper for household cleaning (specially for tiles).
