The disadvantage is that if different temperatures are required for both zones, the upper zone, which has a smaller volume capacity, must have a lower temperature set than the lower zone, which is larger. We planned to place red wine (12 degree) in the upper zone and white and sparkling wine (5 degree) in the lower one, but due to this limitation we are forced to do it the other way around and thus the volume of both zones does not suit us.
Most of the wine bottles I have do not fit - the bottles are about 5 mm longer,, have to be put diagonally, consequence of little space, only suitable for classic wine bottles
