I’d been looking for a long time for something that would actually work on hot days and wasn’t just a noisy fan that merely ‘stirs the air’. I finally had a go at the Siguro Aura Tower D100W tower fan and I have to say – it’s in a league of its own.
A brilliantly designed water tank – it’s now much more convenient and thoughtfully designed to use than in earlier versions.
Smart control via Wi-Fi, straight from your mobile.
Quiet operation and a pleasant airflow compared to standard fans.

As has been pointed out, the cooling effect is 0 litres; you’re simply pumping a ridiculous amount of water into the room, which turns it into a laundry room and causes damage to the walls. It’s quite noisy, so you won’t be able to fall asleep next to it. But if you want a powerful fan and don’t mind splashing out 3,000 on it, then it probably makes sense – just don’t expect anything more than that.
That fan is brilliant
Strong performance
You can put as much ice as you like into the tank and the cooling effect will still be 0. I don’t know what this new term ‘perceived temperature’ means, but if you don’t actually lower the temperature by even 0.1 °C, you can feel however you like, but it’s still the same.
To add ice, you have to take the fan apart, which isn’t a very clever design
It can spray up to a litre of water into the air in an hour, which is a real nightmare for the walls, and you’re basically turning the room into a laundry room
You can only sleep with the fan on at the lowest speed – about 1 or 2 out of 24 – but the fan’s performance is very poor, so there’s no point in using it
A surprisingly pleasant cooling effect; when filled with ice (and water), it’s actually quite cold. I didn’t want air conditioning. The device significantly improves comfort, particularly when sleeping or working. The cooling pads supplied are on the small side and heat up quickly in a ten-litre tank. If you want to make the most of its potential, I recommend using larger PCM packs or large frozen PET bottles, as the water tank is quite large. For that price, I’m pleasantly surprised and satisfied.
pleasant cooling
I’d call it PERFECT (I’d give it 5*), but the details aren’t quite finished: -)
high air flow
large water tank
If you adjust the position of the pump so that it doesn’t vibrate against the bath, it isn’t noisy either
insufficient instructions
NO mention of a pump underneath the unit! Before someone gets so scared of 230V that they think they should stick it in water.
The pump is poorly positioned; it’s also terribly noisy when it rattles against the wall. Fortunately, there’s a hole underneath which seems to have been designed specifically to allow it to be positioned further away from the wall.
night mode – probably pointless.
Quite a high price for the filter, given the excellent price of the device – 30 per cent?
Having coated the pump with Biomolitan, I am satisfied with the product. Until then, I’d been bothered by the sound of the pump hitting the bottom of the water tank.
The cooler is brilliant. But don’t forget that this isn’t an air-conditioning system. It really won’t cool your flat or room down. It’s a cooler fan. Perfect for hot nights. It has a large water/ice reservoir INTO WHICH YOU MUST PLUG THE WATER PUMP! Which isn’t even mentioned in the instructions…
If you don’t do this, the snowflake indicator light will just keep flashing and nothing will change. It has a user-friendly app that makes it easy to control everything. 24 speed settings, irregular wind simulation, timer. Great buy for me.
24-degree wind, simulation of an irregular breeze
timer
price-performance ratio
cools
great app
wheels for moving
The instructions don’t say anything about running the pump into the tank
Am I right in thinking that I need to unscrew the pump and put it in that container of water, even though there’s no mention of this in the instructions?
I suppose that’s fine
The instructions seem to be missing some important information

One of the better humidifiers; it doesn’t cool the room, but the pleasant mist makes a sweltering day more bearable.
