Quality of workmanship.
The flavour of the coffee and the customisation options. It does what it's supposed to, and it does it damn well. Very happy!
Easy to take apart and clean, most parts can go in the dishwasher.
The sound is fine. Noticeably better than I'm used to from more basic coffee machines. The grinder is still loud, of course, but it's a sort of refined sound.
The price. On offer for just under 11k, it's brilliant.
The app greatly expands the options and practically puts its features on a par with the more expensive TP553E07.
It can wake up (manually or remotely via a mobile) and make coffee straight away without a rinse cycle.
Compared to the TP553E07, the manual controls are missing Americano, Café Grande, profiles, and the option to adjust the amount of milk in milky drinks. The app solves all of this (and much more), but it just seems really unnecessary to me.
The drink buttons aren't backlit. It sounds like a silly thing, but you do notice it.
Doesn't take ground coffee.
Buy a milk container, water filters and some cleaning tablets. The box contains one dose of everything except the filter.
