The kids were looking forward to waffles, I wanted something we could use in more ways than one and found this product under the tree. It handles toast just fine, even though it was delivered with the wrong plates (one was missing a pair, the other was 3x- alza solved it by returning part of the money, but they can't be bought separately anyway, so what the heck). The problem came with the waffles. The fact that I will have to pick up the amount of batter, it is expected, but the fact that we will wait for one batch (2 waffles) for a quarter of an hour and they will be fried only from the bottom side, so I will have to turn them during the preparation, it really got to me. So, not really.
Not bad as a pure toaster.
The replaceable parts are dishwasher safe.
Useless for waffles. Some last 15 minutes, which is a long time.
It's heating up weird. Sometimes it won't turn on even if you open and close it several times, and then everything takes much longer.
Completely unusable for the purpose for which it was purchased (mainly for waffles)

It is certainly not necessary to rotate the waffles when baking, the appliance has one upper and one lower heating element. After removing the baking plates, the ovens are visible. The operation indicators work as follows: The green LED light will light up when the unit is connected to the mains and the red light will light up when the thermostat switches on the heater and starts heating. The waffle batter must therefore be poured into the plates/plates only when the red LED light first turns off after switching on the machine and the plates are heated and ready to bake.
