I bought it as a spare for the room humidifier.
The filter as such lasted for almost 5 months with the fact that after two months it turned the other way around and washed properly with running water and disinfectant.
Always filled the humidifier to the max (or slightly over).
Unfortunately, probably due to the hard water, there are hard grey deposits on the filter that cannot be cleaned and need to be replaced.
Fits into the humidifier
Lasted more than a month (the term recommended by the manufacturer)
Lasted +/- 5 months
I don't recommend overfilling the humidifier - then the filter will collapse and not perform its function at all.
