Remember the cheap DVD covers from China that broke after a slight bend and smelled like a sore foot?
That's exactly the smell coming from this machine. Inappropriate recyclate chosen to make the body of the fryer. This completely killed an otherwise reliably functioning and design-oriented product.
I have a couple of things from Sencor, it's cheap but good brand, for example sonic brushes are great.
But this didn't work, it still smells like plastic even after multiple uses. Fortunately, the smell does not manifest itself in the food prepared, but I would not buy this appliance again.
