I doubt anyone here actually uses this for what it's intended for, which is getting around town. As soon as you go into a tram track, the handlebars lock up and you take such a tumble, you won't know what hit you. You can cross the tracks comfortably, but if you ride into them, you're not getting out. I think wider wheels would solve this (the same thing happened to me with a Lime scooter). The 2 stars are in comparison to Lime scooters. The Segway is more powerful and has a longer range, but for 20,000, the range is ridiculous. It's about 4km to the factory for me, and on race mode (the only one that allows 25km/h), it would last 5–6 days (steep climbs, asphalt, rider 85–90kg). But if you just want to go for a ride, you're charging it every 2-3 days. It charges quickly, but where? It weighs 25kg, which isn't a problem for a man, but carrying it up to higher floors gets old very quickly. And you can forget all that talk about suspension. The ride isn't pleasant on cobblestones or even poor-quality road surfaces. All protective gear isn't an option, it's a necessity; this machine won't do anything for you. Only pair it with your phone via the app (turn on Bluetooth, then the app, and it will find the scooter). If you don't do it in this order, the app won't find the scooter and the fun is over.
In my opinion, the value of this machine is 12,000–15,000. Then I wouldn't complain. This is a real disappointment.

And that's where the problem occurred. THE APP established some sort of pseudo-connection and it was impossible to get into the scooter through the app. IT SIMPLY DISCONNECTED AND THAT WAS IT. I struggled with it all day, tried a million tutorials and nothing worked. In the end, I figured it out and fixed the problem. Look for the issue in the Bluetooth cache of your phone (Android 16) - clear all connections. Next is the display power and clearing the app including all its data. The display, I had to disconnect the connector in the handlebar stem and leave it overnight so everything in it would be cleared. In the morning, the procedure is: you have to download and install Segway Mobility again, have Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS turned on. Perform the installation again, from scratch. Only then did it start up, log in, and was confirmed by the start button as well. After that, all the updates went through, and the scooter including the mobile app now works as it should.
