After about half a year of use, I am lowering the rating from 4 stars to 3. I lock it basically every day in front of the doo and it is covered with a tarp so it is protected from the rain, however despite this the alarm stopped working. After disassembling and remeasuring the batteries inside I found that 2 of the 6 LR44 batteries were already completely dead, so I put in 2 new ones, the alarm worked for a while, but after a while nothing again. I think the manufacturer is putting in some really low-quality batteries. One of the original ones I pulled out of the lock EXPLODED a few days after I pulled it out! And it was just lying on a table in a ventilated room where the sun wasn't even shining on it.
