The dust just clumps together and stays on the surface – maybe I had higher expectations of it or I tried it on too dusty a surface – but that is what I needed it for.

An amazing thing for speeding up cleaning. It's primarily designed for dust – just wet it (a little more if it's gone hard, it'll soften quickly) and wipe the dust away. Those "grooves" pick up dust brilliantly. It's not very absorbent for things like cleaning products, but it can be used for that too. I can't recommend it enough, it makes my cleaning significantly easier and faster. It lasted about 2–3 months.
Excellent against dust
simpler and faster cleaning
It could be a bit bigger (it's only slightly larger than a classic small sponge)

We use it daily in the kitchen to wipe down the wooden counters. It has excellent suction, does not create dust like normal wipes and wipes crumbs off surfaces well. I can't imagine it as a duster, because it doesn't take much, and you'd probably be scared to death. As far as the softness is concerned, within about a month it has hardened like a hard pastry and has to be soaked very thoroughly before it can be pressed. I think the biggest downside is that the foam mixture does not contain any disinfectants, so even wrung out, lying on a well-ventilated surface, it became moldy.
OK for wiping away small amounts of crumbs or dust
It serves no other purpose, it doesn't take much
She got hard right away
In a room with 46% humidity, wrung out on the counter, it turned moldy
