The car was parked from 26.12.2025 to 11.01.2026, the battery is not in the best shape and of course I did not start it. With this starter unit the problem was solved within a minute, after connecting the engine (petrol, 1,6i , 120kw) started without a single hesitation and 12% of the total capacity was lost. Due to the high power to start the car, the power for charging mobile devices and charging the built-in battery is relatively low, both max18W. But similar devices that offer even 60W are twice as expensive, so I don't list that as a negative, even considering the primary purpose, starting the car.
The Octavia III 2.0 TDI started with a cold engine (today it was still -3°C at noon) and a fully discharged battery (even the infotainment didn't turn on) immediately, 10% of the device battery was gone, back to 99% charged in 30 minutes (9V/2A USB-C to laptop), 100% in 50 minutes.
