I bought this watch to replace my 4-year-old Samsung Galaxy Watch 4 Classic, which I recently drowned in a swimming pool. What I miss most is the rotating bezel, which I was used to using on my previous watch. On the other hand, I appreciate the display's readability even in bright summer sun, the snappier OS response compared to the original model, and the extended battery life on a single charge. Although, I don't get the promised 4 days of use; it's more like 2–2.5 days (I have continuous monitoring of all vital functions enabled, but the Always On Display mode is off, and I mainly use it to check the time, weather, and notifications. I don't use the watch for navigation or media playback, yet I can't even get a full 3 days of use). What bothers me the most is, once again, the problem with adding an e-Sim to the watch, just like with the older model (I spent 2 hours with the operator only to be told it's a firmware compatibility issue on the manufacturer's side). Samsung could work on this a bit; in my opinion, 4 years is a long enough time to iron out such basic steps for getting the whole device up and running. Similarly, the problem of adding certain bank cards to the wallet is recurring (though here I don't know if the fault lies with the device or the bank). However, after the initial problems getting all the features working, I'm very satisfied with the watch after a fortnight of use and can definitely recommend it.

I switched to the silver version of the Galaxy Watch Ultra2, and for me, its look is its biggest advantage. The Titanium Silver looks significantly more elegant and versatile than the dark version, and in my opinion, this helps the watch better combine the sporty character of the Ultra with a classic watch appearance. With the right strap, it also suits casual or more formal wear. At the same time, all the main strengths of the Ultra2 remain – excellent battery life, a large and perfectly readable display, a fast system, precise GPS, and very good options for tracking sport, health, and sleep. Although it's quite large, it sits comfortably on my wrist even during all-day wear. After my experience with the Galaxy Watch8 Classic, I missed its more elegant look, but in my opinion, the silver Ultra2 comes much closer in appearance, while offering substantially better battery life and more capable hardware overall. For me, the Titanium Silver is the best colour variant of the Ultra2.

I've been using the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 every day for a while now, and I have to say, I've been pleasantly surprised from the moment I first put it on. Compared to the original Watch Ultra, which I was using until now, it feels even more premium – the materials are high-quality, the design is robust, but at the same time, it's comfortable on the wrist. I feel like Samsung paid more attention to the details this time, because the watch looks really good for everyday wear, not just for sports. What pleased me the most is the battery life. With the previous generation, I was used to charging it more often, but the Ultra 2 lasts noticeably longer, so I don't have to constantly worry about whether I have a charger to hand. The heart rate sensor is mostly very accurate, and the readings match what I've measured with a POLAR chest strap. However, occasionally it gives completely nonsensical readings. It's not a major issue, but I hope it improves over time with updates, because otherwise, it works really well. Another thing that's a bit of a nuisance is charging it in a warmer environment. When it's warmer, the charging slows down a lot and takes much longer. In the end, setting up a routine on my phone that automatically switches the watch to power-saving mode during charging helped. This speeds up the charging, which is better. Overall, though, I'm really happy with the switch from the original Watch Ultra. The Ultra 2 is better in most of the important ways – it has better battery life, feels higher quality, and is fast and reliable. I don't regret the change at all and feel like I've taken a step in the right direction.
The Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 is a very well-made and well-functioning watch. All the communication functions and apps are brilliantly functional, and the display response is excellent. I also appreciate the durability of the watch; after switching from the Galaxy Watch 7 Classic, I just have to get used to the square shape.
I've been using the Galaxy Watch Ultra2 for a few days now and I'm particularly happy with the battery life – with normal use and active health tracking it easily lasts 2–3 days, which I didn't expect from a smartwatch. The display is perfectly readable even in direct sunlight and the titanium body feels really durable. I switched from a Garmin which stopped working after contact with salt water, so durability was my main concern. The GPS tracking is accurate for both running and hiking, and the heart rate monitoring is spot on. I'm a bit bothered that the Samsung Health app is sometimes less clear than competing apps and some more advanced metrics are missing. However, the connection with my Samsung phone and tablet works flawlessly. Overall, a very solid choice for the price. I'm adding a photo for comparison with my Fenix 7x pro solar (47mm) which didn't survive the sea :) It was 3 years old.

I was upgrading from an older type of Samsung watch and waited for the summer, when the sale of the new Ultra generation was announced. I'm very pleased with the decision to swap the old model for the new one. The watch has newer features, and since I use it not only for sports but also for health monitoring – it's more than sufficient. The battery lasts a lot longer than the original model, and the design is incomparable. Thanks to its robustness, I believe it will last for several years again. Perhaps Samsung could create other supplementary health apps. The processor is fast and so everything runs like clockwork. I don't regret my choice.
I switched from the Galaxy Watch 8, which barely lasted during sport or hiking with active use, especially without my phone. This one is brilliant, LTE support, absolutely incredible display. The only thing is that with a full charge, I get about 2 and a bit days, without AOD. But then again, I am using the watch's full potential, including raise to talk. And it feels premium. However, with the original default watch face that has an active compass, it lags and drains the battery a lot. With other (last year's) watch faces, it's perfectly snappy, which is a bit of a shame, I hope the fault isn't on my end. Otherwise, it's a huge leap from last year's generation, it's like having a second phone on your wrist 😉

Having switched from the older Galaxy Watch 6 Classic, I have to say the Galaxy Watch Ultra is a huge leap forward. The robust construction feels very durable and the display is fantastically readable even in sharp, direct sunlight. I mainly use the watch when cycling, where I appreciate the completely accurate GPS, quick satellite acquisition, and detailed tracking of routes and heart rate. The battery life is incomparably better than the Watch 6 Classic and the system runs lightning fast. It fits perfectly on the wrist and the buttons are easy to operate even with cycling gloves on. A great choice for me. I'm also looking forward to other features like sleep tracking and the subsequent recommendations for improving it. I've only tested it for a short time, but so far it's all positives.
I upgraded from the Galaxy Watch 8 Classic to the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 and I'm glad I did. The watch is fast, responsive, and I haven't noticed any significant slowdown during normal use. The display is excellent, with nice colours, good readability, and a noticeably high brightness, especially outdoors. I can see it clearly even in direct sunlight, which is a big advantage when playing sports or just using it outside the house. I also really like the overall build quality. The watch feels durable, well-made, and at the same time is comfortable to wear. I also appreciate the larger battery, thanks to which I don't have to worry about charging it every day, and with normal use, it lasts significantly longer than the Classic 8. In terms of functionality, I'm not missing anything major. Overall, I find the Ultra 2 more practical and versatile, especially when I'm outdoors, doing sports, or don't want to be constantly dependent on my phone. What does annoy me, however, is the occasional issue with the Always On Display, which sometimes turns itself off, and the LTE connection isn't always completely reliable either, especially when I don't have my phone with me. Hopefully, Samsung will sort this out with an update over time. Otherwise, I'm happy with the watch and don't regret switching from the Classic 8. On the contrary, I feel like I've got a more durable, better-equipped, and overall more practical watch that suits me better than the previous model.
I bought the GW Ultra2 watch to replace the original GW Ultra, mainly because of the battery life – the battery on the GW Ultra was a disappointment to me right from when I bought it: with my usage, it realistically lasted one day without a charge. After less than two years of use, I sometimes had to get the charger out during the day as well. The GW Ultra2 promised a battery with a larger capacity and a more efficient chipset, and after the first few days of use, it has met my expectations – it lasts more than 2 days without charging, with some to spare. The larger battery capacity and the same charging power mean a longer charging time. I was pleasantly surprised by the option to set up battery protection, where it only charges to 90 percent (similar to a mobile).
The much-discussed design of the watch hasn't really changed much from the previous generation, but I personally like the relatively large square case with a round display, and the watch looks good on my larger wrist. A visible difference is the smaller bezels around the larger display.
It feels like the watch 'sits' better on the wrist (despite being slightly heavier): the reason is probably the 'flatter' bottom and lower body. However, because of this, I also had an unpleasant surprise when the Ultra2 refused to charge on an (unbranded) charging stand where the Ultra worked fine. The branded chargers included with the watches work interchangeably.
From the perspective of HW functions and basic usage and controls, for my needs, nothing has really changed with the Ultra2 compared to the Ultra: the sensors, buttons, functions, and durability, as well as the logic of the OneUI interface and SW functions (health stats, etc.), look the same from my user point of view. I haven't noticed the advantage of the brighter display yet – there hasn't been a bright enough sunny day.
A positive is the strap compatibility: the straps I bought for the Ultra also work with the Ultra2 without any problems.
