I appreciate that the manufacturer considers self-closing a BENEFIT! It's an absolute tragedy. We have another barrier at home from another brand and I regret not taking it again. While this barrier is easy to open, it does not stay open. We have it in the futons between the kitchen and dining room, which is a complete disaster.
