Rowenta is pretty much the most honest with a 15 year warranty on replacement parts. We have a 2 year old one at home, but the batteries are not interchangeable. Everything corresponds in performance and parameters. But this new one has a 3mm protrusion so that the old battery cannot be used! These are useless, ridiculous practices. Rowenta doesn't care about ecology at all.
