Rowenta X-Clean 12 Review As a user of the previous version, the X-Clean 10, I had the opportunity to try out the Rowenta X-Clean 12, so I really have something to compare it with. When you unbox it, setting up the Rowenta is very easy. You select your language, Czech, and from that moment on, it speaks to you in Czech. At first glance, I was struck by the more modern display, which is really nicely coloured and looks much more up-to-date than the previous version. The Rowenta vacuums and mops the floor really well at the same time, but I'm already used to that from the previous version. After a week of testing, however, I would say that the X-Clean 12 gets closer to the walls and, most importantly, into the corners. It has a slightly differently designed roller, and in practice, it really helped. This leaves fewer unclean spots along the walls. I also like the hair-cutting feature because I have long hair and we have two cats at home, so a lot of hair and fur gets collected during cleaning. I can't say that tangled hair was a significant problem with the X-Clean 10, but this new feature is definitely nice and I'm glad to have it. Another change from the previous version is the separate container for detergent. You simply pour it in and the vacuum dispenses it itself as needed. When you need to add an extra dose, you just press the lever and the Rowenta adds it. And if you hold that lever down, the Rowenta also activates turbo mode. The previous version had this too, but you had to switch it on with the mode-change button. I think it's much better here that you have a lever under your finger that you just hold down when needed, and the turbo mode activates for that specific moment. It seems much more practical to me than constantly switching modes. For those who don't know the Rowenta, I'll just add that it vacuums and mops at the same time. It has no problem vacuuming up water or liquid spills, like spilt coffee, but it can also handle dry crumbs. It picks up everything really beautifully. I've had the chance to try floor washers from other companies, even some more expensive brands, and I have to say that for me, Rowenta is truly top-notch. It is a bit more expensive, but in my opinion, you definitely won't regret the money. I was already so satisfied with the X-Clean 10 that I ended up buying the newest version, the X-Clean 12, and I definitely don't regret my decision.
