I honestly don't understand the point of this version of MTB. the road/trek version has the hook welded on tightly to approx. 65° opening, the base is exactly the same, the hook is maybe 0.5cm wider on the MTB version. However, even the road one is more than adequate for normal MTB, the fatbike would probably be a problem, but that's for both.
