Fitting is simple, I pre-drilled holes in the plastic in the Up for the adapter, the adapter itself and the armrest are compatible. The armrest moves from side to side after fitting, this isn't a fault of the armrest itself, but of the plastic mounting point in the Up. Only time will tell how annoying this will be, but first impressions are positive.

The adapter has pre-drilled holes for the backrest.
The button for opening the storage compartment is a bit flimsy.
