I went for these headphones because QCY has offered some interesting models in the past. What really caught my eye was the Hi-Res LDAC audio at this price point. I was curious to see how it performed. I mainly listen to rock and metal on TIDAL (which has an LDAC audio library), and occasionally other genres too. For sound tests, I use various songs and bass beat tracks on YouTube. I recommend one thing right from the start – don't use the app with these headphones. The app's interface is well-designed, but the equaliser tuning is atrocious. Without the app, the headphones sound excellent. At first, they might seem a bit flat, but let them warm up properly, break them in, really give them a good workout. They'll open up and then they're superb. You can even hear the position of individual instruments on the stage, which isn't common at this price. The set includes five sizes of eartips (which was a pleasant surprise!) and I found the right ones for me; the headphones sit nicely in my ears and provide great noise isolation. They're fine for calls and films. The sound is clear and crisp, nothing crackles, and the bass isn't muddy. For me, it's a very decent product.
