Here is my experience: I put the pod in that special basket and when putting the lever on the coffee maker and turning it to the end position, it didn't work at all. Subsequently, I found that the coffee bag is a bit high and the lever cannot be pushed in so easily to catch the thread. However, I used more force and it worked (guy, 40 years old, with all the force; ), but it was noticeable that the lever was very difficult to turn to the final position. I then made 1 coffee afterwards and I have to say that even the DeLonghi EC685 had a big problem pushing the water through the bag. Basically, it was just dripping lightly.

not compatible with Delonghi EC685 even though both have ESE in the name.
