The brush has 3 modes (cleaning, whitening, gum care). I only use the first two, but I can't tell the difference between them, so I find this feature rather useless. This is my second Philips Sonicare toothbrush. On my first one, after more than two years, a bolt inside the body came loose, so the drive shaft that the head is mounted on started wobbling (the head knocks from side to side and you can't clean your teeth with it). Judging by the amount of tutorials and videos on the web (YouTube), this is a fairly common problem. With this toothbrush, the same problem appeared after half a year. Alza.cz has a high complaint rate (over 7%), which is probably no coincidence. You can fix it yourself, but you don't want to do it under warranty, and in general I don't have much confidence in Philips toothbrushes anymore. I can't recommend it.

I already have the second one and both have gone to the same problem, after a while the screw in the oscillation mechanism loosens and the brush runs but the head does not oscillate or only slightly. but always out of warranty.
at that price, I'd rather not have the problem again.
