Compared to older models, the body of the toothbrush has a display where you can set it to check if everywhere is cleaned well, where you pressed too hard, or where you scrubbed too much. It also shows the battery status in %. Alternatively, the same can be set up via the mobile app.
Compared to older models, you need an adapter for charging, which isn't included. I can just about understand that. But what I don't get is why the included cables have IEC-C7 connectors (which plug into the base of the glass and into the case) and USB-A on the other end. On the older models, the cable was permanently attached to the glass base and the case. A charging adapter wasn't needed for the glass, only for the travel case. It would have been enough to put USB-C on both the base and the case, and you could have used a standard charger and cable from your mobile. So, I'm using both my old glass with its own plug and my old case with a USB-A cable. THIS WAS A REAL FAIL.
