according to the instructions, the side outlet is designed for the water inlet and the top outlet is designed for the filtered water outlet, but then the hose to the washing machine does not fit the outlet and the corkscrew (water inlet tap on the wall) does not fit the filter inlet, i.e. either the fittings are reversed or the instructions are wrong (that's why I give only 3 stars, because either the comrades from Philips have made a mess or they are making fools of us)
