I originally bought the cheaper version for a couple hundred, but somehow it just wasn't right. Especially when it's immediately clear to everyone that these lights were definitely not on the car from the factory. So in the end, I wanted to at least have hope that I wouldn't pay more in fines than I did for the bulbs. But they shine nicely, so I picked up 2 sets right away and as long as they stay on, I won't even consider the original bulbs.

The light output is close to the original H7 bulbs because of the homologation, so the light is whiter, but nothing that revolutionary happens after installation (but that's actually a good thing, because at least people in the opposite direction won't hate you: -D)
The shape of the light cone in front of the car depends quite a lot on the headlight design, because the filament of a conventional bulb shines 360° around and the LED can only handle about 240° and then the output on the sides drops.
