Complex construction and assembly - In my case the kit consisted of three parts: bulb body, socket and adapter. All of this needed to be assembled correctly and it was definitely not a 5 minute job. Nothing can fall into your headlight. The biggest struggle was with securing the socket with the adapter. It must click into the groove, otherwise the bulb is still unsecured!
Cooling ( fan) noise - The bulbs have active cooling in the body and this is unfortunately audible both outside and inside if the car is quiet. I imagine that for example not for diesel.
