It is not glued or etched. It is attached with a classic (probably chrome-plated) screw. This is not suitable for moisture and food. I recommend removing this handle and gluing it with a hot air gun or special glue. The plastic is not machined on some parts, and a piece of plastic surplus sticked to the handle after casting. Today' s creators have a chaste mindset and idea about butterworks. Butter costs not 2 euros.
