I switched from the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra and it shows. Not so much the performance, but the ergonomics are much better, with the leather back it feels nice to hold and doesn't slip in the hand. If you’ve got the X9 Pro, don’t despair – it’s very similar and absolutely brilliant; its photos are on a par with the Ultra. Even the Pro version leaves the S26U in the dust when it comes to photography. I placed the Oppo X9 Ultra and Samsung S26 Ultra side by side and compared just the displays. Samsung looked like a poor bride; compared to their A series, the Oppa’s display is a real luxury. As far as photos are concerned, everything’s fine, as it’s largely the same as the Pro version, which produced stunning photos, but I’m sometimes amazed at what the Oppo X9 Ultra can do.
