At first, it feels a bit cheap, but its craftsmanship, simplicity, blade quality and price gradually won me over. It'll slice bread and carve a boat out of bark. It's comfortable to hold and if you lose it, you'll just buy the same one again. This is my third one, I think. I had one made of carbon steel, which barely ever went blunt, but you had to take better care of it as it rusted. I recommend this steel; it stays sharp for a long time and is easy to sharpen thanks to the shape of the cutting edge.
