I would try to push there with the flat end of the combi. In any case, I dare to say that it is not possible without a tool and only with your finger (as indicated in the instructions). I definitely cannot recommend this product. P. S.: I really regret that I didn' t open it until two months after the purchase. In the meantime, I took it from the Czech Republic, still packed, to Slovakia to visit my girlfriend, from where we are going on vacation in two weeks, so we will not complain about it now, because we will need it. I hope that the missing piece of rubber won' t cause problems when riding or that the carrier won' t be damaged in bad weather conditions. After returning from vacation, I will try to complain about it, so that they change the tire, because the hole really hurts me. e.
