I bought the speaker with the intention of playing background music and notifications from various programs (news alerts, emails, etc.) ) Unfortunately, this is not possible, because the manufacturer probably planned this speaker only for occasional playing from a mobile phone via BT or USB - once no audio signal goes into it for a few minutes via the AUX input, the speaker turns off and re-enabling it has to be done manually on the top panel or with the remote control (it does NOT turn itself on at the next sound). In addition, it does not remember the volume setting after switching it on. The stated dimensions are a combination of the height and the size of the base, not the speaker - which has a footprint of about 12x14 cm. The inverters themselves are miniature, about the size of a regular desktop PC box, so there is no question of a good sound system in the room. The built-in equalizer is practically useless, without adjusting the equalizer in the PC they have unbelievable sound.
