If I want to make a high-quality coffee, I use my Sage espresso machine. The main goal of this purchase was to have something more compact for trips to our cottage or on holiday. I knew what I was getting into, as I had the chance to try it out at a friend's before buying. I don't expect miracles from it, it's a bit of a toy, but if I want to make a really quick small espresso just for a taste, it doesn't disappoint. It's not for those who prefer pint-sized mugs filled to the brim. My wife mostly uses it for decaf, which is a bit of an issue with a bean-to-cup machine.
Quick preparation
Easy maintenance
it took quite a long time for the appliance to draw water from the reservoir during the first use
I ruined the very first capsule by inserting it incorrectly and warping it, it takes some practice
I'd rather not comment on the promo for £60 worth of free coffee

Easy, intuitive operation
Small size, fits nicely on the kitchen counter
The 1l water tank is large enough to brew several coffees - for example. when there's a visitor, they don't have to refill as often

small capsule coffee machine that doesn't take up much space
large selection of coffee capsules
aluminium capsules are well recyclable
the price of coffee - especially if you like the capsules directly from Nespresso (but it's still cheaper than in a restaurant or cafe: -) )
