I bought them as speakers for the garden, and I returned them because the sound was really unlistenable. I don't claim to be an audiophile, but this was a really awful sound. Specifically, terribly weak bass. The button that was supposed to add bass lowered the treble.
Control via remote control is terribly difficult, because the speaker does not even flash feedback that the button has been pressed. It's hard to look for positives, ... after what I've heard, I'll save up for a party speaker, I don't think that's the way to go, ...
