The bulb for the oven lasted about a year. Then the glass part separated from the socket, which remained stuck in the thread. The claim was rejected only with reference to mechanical damage, although this occurred only when the stuck socket was removed. The product was disappointing and I consider the handling of the complaint to be unfair.
Based on other reviews, I've gotten the feeling that this (and all other) bulbs will soon blow and blow the fuses in my house. So I was very careful not to touch the bulb with my bare skin and I installed it in the oven wearing gloves. The bulb didn't burst when you turned it on. It has been baked several times since then and so far it is holding.
