I don't understand the comments saying she's quiet. I had a MORA 650 X before, which I changed because of the microswitch buttons, but it had a noise level of at least 40dB on stage 1, about 48dB on stage 2 and 63dB on stage 3. The noise of this hood measured by the same phone is 65 dB at stage 1, 66 dB at stage 2 and 68 dB at stage 3. It is virtually impossible to tell by hearing which gear is on.
The suction is decent, but the noise is terrible. The rocker switches are fine, but their placement behind the slide-out section is a bit awkward. So I have to pull up so I can turn on the light. Lifting starts the suction (if not set to off). so that the noise doesn't disturb me (e.g. when cleaning the hob), I have to snap it back on. and when I'm done, I'm gonna slide it up again, turn the lights off, and lock it again.
I would like to meet the authors of the MORA hood concept (this type, including the previous 650X) and have them install it, preferably according to the instructions. Some mounting holes are practically inaccessible, if the screw falls off the screwdriver, there is a risk of getting stuck in places where it is harder to remove, etc.
I expected more from this hood.
