Problem cancelling the subscription, but very good support. Review as of 08/2026. After a year of trouble-free use, I properly turned off the automatic renewal for Microsoft 365. However, after the subscription ended, a problem arose – Alza remained listed in my Microsoft account as the subscription provider/manager, and this status didn't disappear even after the declared 30-day transition period. The result was that although the licence was no longer active, I couldn't buy a new subscription directly from Microsoft. The Microsoft Store blocked the purchase and referred me back to the subscription provider. The resolution took quite a long time, and Alza had to repeatedly take the issue up directly with Microsoft. Eventually, they managed to remove the link, and I am now using a new subscription purchased directly from Microsoft without any issues. Therefore, I currently don't consider this method of cancelling this type of subscription to be very reliable, and after this experience, I wouldn't buy it again. However, I rate Alza's customer support very positively. The staff communicated with me throughout, didn't just dismiss the problem, repeatedly escalated it to Microsoft, and kept me informed of the progress themselves. They also compensated me for the complications. It's clear that it was more of a technical problem with the process between Alza and Microsoft rather than a lack of interest from support. If Alza and Microsoft fix the problem with the correct termination of subscription management, I see nothing else fundamentally wrong with the service. My rating is therefore mainly aimed at the current unreliability of the cancellation process, not at the attitude of the customer service. It's difficult to rate such a product, but if we also consider the surrounding services: - the functioning of the licence itself 5/5
- Alza support's attitude 4/5
- licence management 1/5 (if it hadn't been possible to easily cancel the automatic renewal, it would be 0/5)

A relatively good value (after the discount) licence if you need cloud storage for several members of your family, as well as Office applications. Of course, this involves ‘migrating’ other users to the Microsoft solution as well, and not all applications use OneDrive (e.g. (There is no native backup for WhatsApp). As a bonus, you also get an office suite, web apps, and so on. After the license expires (if you cancelled or blocked the payment card in time, because you are not interested in paying double for the license next year), unfortunately, it is not possible to terminate the "management" of Office 365 licenses by Alza and get the management of Office 365 licenses for families back into the user's own hands (you can enter a different or elsewhere purchased key through Windows) or delegate the management of the license to another 3rd party (e.g. Amazon) for the next period. Currently 30.5.26 Alza web page (Alza el. library, license management) very correctly reports license expiration on 24.5.26 (inactive, expired, in red), activated on 25.5.25. You can't terminate an "orphaned license" of Office 365 through Microsoft support after many hours of trying (they refer you back to Alza as a 3rd party that properly manages your license and that the Office 365 license is active until 12.6.2027 = error). And you can't activate a new 1-year licence (purchased from Amazon or elsewhere) for another year - ending with a dialogue that you must first terminate the current active Office 365 licence. You can't manage the license in your Windows in the usual way either (click on "manage" = jump to the Alza library web page with the inactive license already expired and no option to end the license management there by this 3rd person = Alza, after the license expires. ). So endless "buggies". I sent the problem to Alza by email (after 2 previous attempts by phone), as this was not resolved by the trader on the phone. Alza is missing the "Terminate 3rd party license management after proper license expiration" button on the license management web page. It looks like you've had Office 365 management for families through Alza forever. Well - surely it will be solved somehow, i.e. Alza will hopefully solve it somehow - and disconnect the already expired "orphaned" license from the Microsoft slot and also end the 3rd party (i.e. Alza) management of the client's licenses - so that the client can manage the MS licenses himself.
