I used the product on a Škoda Kodiaq, which regenerates every 130 to 140 kilometres when driving off the motorway and in town. Passive regeneration did indeed happen more easily and frequently, but it definitely doesn't clean the filter or change the back pressure values in any way. On the motorway, the regeneration interval increased to about 300 to 320 kilometres, thanks to the easier passive regeneration from this product. But other than that, nothing changed. It certainly has nothing to do with any active cleaning of a removed DPF; the only thing it cleans is basically what hasn't yet settled as incombustible soot. So it definitely won't fix a clogged filter. The only thing it will solve is if the car is driven a lot in town and doesn't undergo regular, proper regenerations – in that case, yes, it helps.
It works, lowers the soot ignition temperature.
I use a funnel to make sure it flows all the way into the tank.
