Most users, unless instructed by someone, probably just forcibly remove the plastic caps on both ends of the shower hose and then tighten the hose to the thread using only finger force, or use some pliers (in the absence of plates for inserting the tightening wrench) and then protect the thread from scratching with some soft material. I wondered how many people would think that the plastic end cap, which only after tightening is apparently to be removed after cutting off one thin part of it, is therefore intended, I suppose. I'm curious how the hose will suit me and more importantly how long it will last. I also have experience with relatively expensive double lock hoses, which have a lifetime of about 2 years for me.
