Unfortunately, Linux support is very poor, even the Alsa drivers recommended above (even if they were for the current kernel) cannot work with this USB adapter as it is incorrectly mapped to the DW chip version and not DC! The currently maintained module is https://github.com/Kiborgik/aic8800dc-linux-patched and I reported an issue with bad mapping (https://github.com/Kiborgik/aic8800dc-linux-patched/issues/9). I didn't do a Pull Request because Gemini wrote the patch: ).
Really "nano"
Price
Linux support is really pathetic, even though it is described as exemplary
I recommend it for anyone who wants a non-functioning wifi adapter.
Plug&Play does not work with Linux as written in the description
The installer is only. exe, missing linux version
The installer is reported as malware

Hello, thank you for your suggestion, which we have checked with the supplier. Plug&Play is Microsoft's term for the easy and automatic installation of a device into a system. In the case of Linux, it tends to be a bit more complicated and less user-friendly. However, the supplier has a driver for this device available on the web. You can download it and get the hardware running on your system.

If you still can't get enough of legendary machines like the Lenovo ThinkPad T430, you've probably hit a wall called BIOS Whitelist. You'd like modern Wi-Fi, but your laptop just won't allow the internal card without a risky BIOS flash. The Mercusys MA14N is an ingeniously simple and inexpensive solution in this respect. you don't have to deal with modified BIOSes or hardware programmers. You just plug it in and go. Installation without internet: Huge advantage! After the first insertion, the adapter logs into the system as a virtual disk (flash drive) on which the drivers are stored. Just click, install, and within a minute the drive "transforms" into a working Wi-Fi card. No more searching for CDs or downloading from another PC. Nano dimensions: The dongle is so small you don't even know it's in the port. With the T430, which is built like a tank, it doesn't stick out and you can leave it in the USB port even when carrying it in your bag.
Size (Truly "Nano", not in the way)
Installation excellent (Drivers are directly in the adapter)
Stability in a disturbed apartment block
Unobtrusive black plastic that matches the ThinkPad chassis
The description of the WiFi adapter is somewhat inaccurate. It is not true that it works immediately after plugging in. When plugged into Windows (tested on W10 and W11), it logs in as an external drive on which the driver is stored. After installing the driver, it only appears as a WiFi adapter.
Favorable price if it would work
Out of several routers, it only connected to a repeater from the same company, and at a very slow speed
In other cases, an error message came up that it was unable to connect
