The belt is great, I use it regularly and can't praise it enough. For a great price, good setup and quietness. I definitely recommend it as an initial investment in health if you want to move more at home. The belt is smaller, which took some getting used to. About the Merach app: Pairing the belt was quick, but we needed to play with it for a while to save the workouts. But you have to turn on the app, connect the belt, turn it on via the remote control, select a workout via the app and start. The control via the app on the fly is also strange, for example the speed can be changed there even in 1 km/h increments, unlike the remote control which is only in 0.1 km/h increments. But from 4 km/h you have to accelerate any further via the remote control again, unfortunately without the possibility of changing the settings. When the workout is over, put a stop in the app, wait 30 seconds for the workout to upload to your profile and you can turn the belt off. I couldn't minimize the app or open two simultaneous windows, the app either crashed or then didn't see the exercise in progress, and trying to fix it led to stopping the current run without saving the data. Forget about automatic saving. Data from the app can be synchronised to Google Fit and Samsung Health or other supported apps using the native Android Health Connect app. But don't expect any miracles, just length, times and calories. The strip only displays the time until 99:99, then it starts again from zero, but fortunately the app continues and saves everything correctly.
