The seal on the lid is easy to remove; the manufacturer even thought about how to take this part out (there's a small tab that makes it easy to remove the seal) and it’s easy to wash. There's no space for mould to grow. With the Silicone Snap and Go Pods, there's no seal like this; it’s two separate parts, but the lid is shaped in such a way that it seals well and is easy to wash. I use it for fruit purée, a portion of small fruit, and nuts.
