as a detailer for wax is fine. I wouldn't expect miracles, but if you park outside, it's enough for bird treats. I see it costs almost twice as much now. I wouldn't buy that again.

works well for removing localised dirt from the paintwork and adding protection

I don't do detailing for a living but I have it as a big hobby, I use many different products and professional ones. Since I already have two cars that have ceramic protection on them I wanted to try this detailer. What came after the application was a complete disappointment, I don't know if it was just a defective batch (I hope so) but it definitely made the repellency worse and disproportionately so. I finally had to get it off the piece I was trying to get it off. I tried it on a car that never had any wax or ceramic (as it only goes to the car wash) and the result was the same = disaster. When using the detailer I normally use it made an incredible difference even on a vehicle with no previous maintenance.

Defacto it does the opposite, it holds the water instead of repelling it.
Maybe a bad batch. (Product was originally packed from the factory)
On a clean, dry car it makes a wet shine, i.e. it does what you want from a detailer.
